Age: You know, it never confirms the exact age in canon other than he's been a vassal of Raven's house since Raven was eight or nine. I'd assume he was at least fourteen then, so I'm going to assume about twenty-five or twenty-six

Appearance: This is the only canon artwork of our dear monk. Lucius stands to be what I'd assume is about 5'5", about a head shorter than what I assume for Raven. He's got long blond hair and serene and calm blue eyes which can sometimes be quite troubled. His entire person is quite womanly, but this is all natural. He doesn't try to look like a girl, honestly, as his outfit is the monk's outfit of his order. And yes, he is as meek as he looks. He can fight with his magic and has been on many battlefields, but he's still sickly and is commonly protected by Lyn, Raven, (secretly) Karel, and a few others.

Personality: Lucius is, before anything else, caring and compassionate. He's seemingly serene, but that's just a front he puts up. Lucius is prone at times to getting quite emotional over things he feels strongly about, causing him to throw a little fit of sorts. He's also extremely humble and polite, to the point he can sometimes seem to put himself down (though this is not his intent). Basically, he's a good guy all-around, believing whole-heartedly in good will and helping people. He cherishes though close to him, but even for a stranger he would risk everything to protect them or console them. He does know his limits, but tends to ignore them until someone points them out.

He also is able to forgive people… for a lot. However it’s not to say he forgives too easily. He can see peoples’ hidden hearts quite well, and if he can sense regret in them, or goodness, he can forgive them. However, due to his history, he has a very hard time forgiving murderers, and the only reason he now fights is in hope of putting an end to all conflicts. Or to strike out the unforgivably wicked, like Nergal. He does not like his looks, and considers them something of a curse, despite a few people (most notably Serra) calling them a blessing of sorts.

History: Okay, this is from broken support conversations. Originally, Lucius was a commoner, and his father was a soldier of some manner. However, a thief broke into his house when he was young and killed his father and fatally wounded his mother. This thief, as it would turn out, is the same Father Renault he mentions all the time (though Lucius didn't know this until very recently, and he forgave him). Anyway, Lucius's mother with the last of her life took Lucius to an orphanage. Lucius was three at the time, and the event (he witnessed his father's death personally) traumatized him for life.

Then, at the orphanage Lucius had a rather hard and sad life. He was constantly teased for his very feminine looks and it's implied that one of the counselors there sexually harassed him about it. He remained there until he was in his early to mid-teens, slowly becoming absorbed into the clergy of St. Elimine. (At least I assumed he started here, but it might've been after entering House Cornwell... anyway---)

However, at this point (he would be somewhere between age 13 and 16, though I assume it was around 14) he was taken in as a vassal of House Cornwell. This was after Priscilla left (which she did at age six) so I assume Raymond (who later became Raven) was about nine at this point. Also, I assume (given his age) he was a personal attendant to the young liege. All the while he continued his clerical studies, eventually becoming a monk. He was treated well by the lord and lady of House Cornwell, and life was generally good for his eight to ten years of service there

Until two years before the canon when House Cornwell was destroyed and he and Raymond were thrust out into the world alone. Lucius was in despair, but still clung to his Lord Raymond. However, Raymond was furious. He took on the alias Raven and became a mercenary. It was at this point that Lucius learned the attack magic of his order, the power of Light. Raven and Lucius sought out the killer of Raven's parents, and all the rumors pointed to the Marques of Ostia. Raven, from that point, plotted revenge against Ostia.

One year before the (main) canon of Fire Emblem 7's story Lucius was separated for Raven (I assume that Lucius was on a pilgrimage for his order while Raven did odd jobs and they planned to meet up at Lyn's House Caelin). Anyway, while that happened he met with Lyn and joined her party to oust her uncle from power. Once that was completed he met back up with Raven and they continued to wander about for another year, eventually finding them back at Castle Caelin.

Raven for a short time joined the invading forces (who had already seized the castle) in order to fight Eliwood's party because her heard Hector (the son of the former Marques Ostia) was in that party. Lucius refused to fight, so he remained in his cell. The battle-frenzied Raven promised to help him out after the battle, but took off in a huff. However, the situation changed when it turned out Raven's long-lost sister, Priscilla, was in Eliwood's party. Raven changed plans in refusing to fight his sister, freed Lucius, and then and there joined Eliwood's party as a mercenary.

However, he stilled planned to eventually killer Hector. However, as the journey progressed Raven came to see reason, much to Lucius's joy (as he felt the anger was dragging down his Lord's soul). During the course of the journey Lucius also grew in meeting and speaking with Raven's sister, Priscilla, as well as Father Renault (who he later learned was the murderer of his parents). And as of the point I'm taking Lucius from, it's the night before the final battle, and both him and Raven are utterly on Eliwood's side against the diabolical mutual enemy of them all -- Nergal and his pawns, the Black Fang.

Oh, and at the point I'm taking him from he's in-game be the "Bishop" class, but he's still officially a monk because they've been on the road and he's been unable to be officially recognized as a priest in the Elimine clergy.

In other words, tl;dr.

Interesting information: Well err-- He's a holy man? He also has the power to both attack with Light-based magic and heal wounds using respectively sacred tomes and staffs. He's also sickly, but not with any physical sickness. He's got a trauma-induced "sickness of the soul" which causes him to feel weak at times, minor fainting spells, and in worst-case he goes into what he and Raven call "fits" (which I assume are minor seizures). And yes, his voice is canonically as feminine as his looks.
